Is anyone else glad the holidays are over? Fun but exhausting! I am relieved that the year is almost over, but oh so excited that this project is just getting started! I’m excited for the new content coming in 2018! Look for an oyster round up coming after a great visit to UNCW, along with a visit to Black Mountain Ciderworks + Meadery in the weeks ahead! The 2017 Tar Heels of the Year are Chef Vivian Howard and Chef Ashley Christensen! (And yes, I love Vivian’s new restaurant located just a few blocks from Drew’s house… and may have already eaten there twice! Check out the photo for my bird’s eye view!)
